Futuraskolan wishes to make more concrete how we work with the development of global citizenship, our international profile, our promise and our value ground. In the development of global citizenship, we want to nurture an action orientation by getting more of our staff and students/children involved in community service and exchange in order to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. This exchange is intended to happen on both a local, national and international level.
Through feeding programs, home visits, sharing of knowledge and learning the connection between Futuraskolan and the international community is strengthened.

Dear Parents,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming **Market Day & Art Exhibition** this Tuesday at **Futuraskolan Int. Preschool Näsby Park**!
Come for a special sneak peek and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look as our teachers transform the preschool into a beautiful art museum showcasing **over 1400 artworks** created by our children during our IEYC Unit *“Imagine That”*. The exhibition is inspired by great artists such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Mondrian, Matisse, Jackson Pollock, Tingatinga, and more! 🎨🌟
🌿 At the entrance (ticket office), families can make a donation to support tree planting in the Bocaina Forest in Brazil after wildfire damage—**every 20 kr plants one tree**. Part of the funds will also support special outings and activities for the children.
🗺️ You will receive a map at the entrance to guide you through the exhibition.
📍 **Important for your visit:**
• Please come early so you have time to fully enjoy the exhibition
• Start upstairs and finish downstairs
• After the exhibition, enjoy delicious baked goods for purchase in the front yard
👗 Dress code: Artistic for both children and families

Had such an inspiring day at SETT 2026 in Kistamässan! ✨ We were two colleagues attending together, and it felt so energizing to share the experience and reflections throughout the day. The main focus was democracy and one of the highlights was the cross‑disciplinary panel, where experts shared different perspectives on how digital tools can support young children’s learning in meaningful ways.

Grade 6 students from Hertig Karl had an inspiring trip to Futuraskolan Bergtorp to visit the art exhibition celebrating the SDGs 🌍🎨
Seeing their own artwork on display filled the students with pride, and they were equally inspired by the creativity and powerful messages expressed in all the awesome pieces around them.

Part of the funds raised will support children’s special activities and outings, while the other part will go toward planting trees in the Bocaina Forest in Brazil, which has been affected by wildfires. 🌳🔥

We had a wonderful Easter celebration at Näsby Park Preschool 🐣 The children explored the story behind Easter, learned key words in both Swedish and English, created beautiful crafts, enjoyed an exciting egg hunt, and shared a special traditional Easter lunch together 💛

🌍 World Health Day Celebration!
Last week at Kvarnskogen preschool joined the world in celebrating World Health Day — a wonderful reminder that caring for our bodies and minds!
The morning began outdoors with joyful dancing, fun exercises, and plenty of giggles as the children moved together under the spring sky. Inside, we gathered to talk about what “healthy” really means and shared ways we can take care of ourselves every day.
Each child had the chance to choose and explain something that helps us stay healthy — from eating fruits and vegetables to getting enough sleep, drinking water, and playing outside. It was heartwarming to hear their reflections and see how thoughtfully they connected health to their daily routines.
Our younger explorers focused on outdoor play and simple healthy habits, learning how movement and fresh air help our bodies grow strong.

Big Adventures on the Little Book Bus!
We celebrated International Book Day at Kvarnskogen with a very special visit! Our 3-5 year olds turned into tiny explorers as they explore the Book Bus to discover the magic of stories.They Listened to enchanting new tales,explored shelves filled with endless adventures & borrowed a favorite book to keep the magic going in class!
