Global

In a world that is full of learning possibilities, Futuraskolan International leads the way in developing international mindedness amongst our students, staff and families. With us, they evolve to become tolerant, attentive, respectful, curious, communicative and contributing individuals to the society and the world around.

Futuraskolan wishes to make more concrete how we work with the development of global citizenship, our international profile, our promise and our value ground. In the development of global citizenship, we want to nurture an action orientation by getting more of our staff and students/children involved in community service and exchange in order to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. This exchange is intended to happen on both a local, national and international level.

Through feeding programs, home visits, sharing of knowledge and learning the connection between Futuraskolan and the international community is strengthened.

Summer Party 2026 at Futuraskolan, Kvarnskogen 🕺💃🏻🥳🎉
Our Summer Party on Friday was the perfect way to wrap up the year 2025-2026 filled with laughter & creativity. The party began with the our small groups where they crafted different style of caps with their patents and gathered together for a beautiful social circle m singing their favourite songs for our loverly parents. Our older group sang summer songs and our graduate kids blew us with their amazing dance performaces.

The highlight was the school leaving ceremony where our principal shared few inspiring words and praised the children’s hard work , presented them with their diplomas and wished everyone a wonderful summer. We wrapped up our event with families mingling & taking family pictures on our Photo Booth.

Our Grade 9 Art students at HK have been exploring what the buildings of tomorrow could look like. Through research, planning, design, and model-making, students created innovative 3D models of sustainable buildings for the future.
The project encouraged students to think creatively about environmental challenges while connecting their designs to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11), Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG 7), and Climate Action (SDG 13).
From green roofs and renewable energy solutions to community-focused spaces, their models showcased thoughtful ideas for a more sustainable future.
Well done to our young architects for their creativity, problem solving, and vision!

Our preschoolers explored the forest, past through the woods, water, bridge and gathered fallen leaves & petals and crafted beautiful nature bracelets. It’s amazing what happens when you let imagination run in the outdoors.

Grade 6 Hertig Karl had a fantastic day at Norrviken working with Hands 2 Ocean to help clean the lake of unwanted rubbish! 🌍💙

Students discovered all sorts of unexpected items — from mobile phones and car wheels to bird feeders! They also took part in a tipspromenad, interviewed each other for social media content and even got creative making a sculpture from the rubbish!

The message of the day: Don’t throw rubbish in nature !
