In a world that is full of learning possibilities, Futuraskolan International leads the way in developing international mindedness amongst our students, staff and families. With us, they evolve to become tolerant, attentive, respectful, curious, communicative and contributing individuals to the society and the world around.
Futuraskolan wishes to make more concrete how we work with the development of global citizenship, our international profile, our promise and our value ground. In the development of global citizenship, we want to nurture an action orientation by getting more of our staff and students/children involved in community service and exchange in order to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and others. This exchange is intended to happen on both a local, national and international level.
Through feeding programs, home visits, sharing of knowledge and learning the connection between Futuraskolan and the international community is strengthened.
Today, Grade 7 from @futuraskolan_radan and Grade 6 and 7 from @futuraskolan_bergtorp collaborated for Childrens Rights` 🥰
Listening to presentations about the GCP, @erasmus_plus_projects , and @varldensbarn and their incredible work, our amazing learners then worked together to collect donations around Täby. Braving the cold - they managed an amazing total!

Our UN Sustainable Development Goals / Good Life Goals display this year has taken on an organic nature as a creative space, with different classes adding to it, posting the goals in different languages and actions for reaching the goals. What a wonderful day at Futuraskolan International Preschool Näsby Park! 🎉 Today, we celebrated UN Day with a vibrant and heartwarming celebration! Our little ones sang, danced, and marched proudly in a parade, waving flags from around the world 🌍 and learning about children`s rights.
The children explored what it means to have the right to identity, freedom of expression, and assembly, all key parts of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. We talked about the importance of peace, justice, and equality—values that are central to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16.
Inside, the learning continued as the children delved into traditional clothes from different cultures, gaining an understanding of the rich meanings behind flags and symbols from all over the world 🌏. It was an eye-opening experience that celebrated diversity, kindness, and the power of learning from one another. ✨
