🥳🧠🙌 Happy International Brain Awareness Week! Two of Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm’s 9th graders, Aarav Pandey and Canon Lucai-Sample, have made an excellent 10-minute video on neurodiversity, including an interview with our own learning support specialist teacher, Jessica Carlson. In the beginning of the film you will see a Brain Awareness poster that one of our Global Citizenship Program students created in highlighting this week’s topic. ✨

Fieldwork Education Interviews Futuraskolan International’s Maria Koutsoupaki

We are proud of Maria Koutsoupaki, English teacher and IMYC Curriculum Coordinator at Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm.

The Knowledge Harvest is a pre-assessment that takes place in the early stages of each unit both as part of the IPC and the IMYC. It gives the students an opportunity to reveal what they already know about a subject. The teacher can, through this, more effectively plan how to go further teaching the students about the unit on an individual and group basis.

Here you can listen to her talk about The Knowledge Harvest in Practice:

Introducing Fieldwork’s New IPC & IMYC Curricula!

We are so very proud of Principal Nicole MacDonald and her team of teachers and students at Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm!

Fieldwork Education have produced new films describing their IPC and IMYC curricula, what they are about and how valuable they are in maximizing students’ learning experience.

In November they came out to Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm interviewing and filming our students, teachers and Principal. Everyone did an outstanding job! We are so proud of our team here at Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm speaking so passionately about the curricula and representing our Futuraskolan organization in such a professional manner.

In the IPC video Futuraskolan International is featured together with a Danish and a UK school.

In it, you will see Futuraskolan International School of Stockholm’s:

In the IMYC video our Futuraskolan teachers are the ONLY ones showcasing the curriculum, they’re not sharing the stage with any other school!
